The Project
We carried out this fantastic warm roof installation for our Mr & Mrs Grant in Chatham. Our customers were let down by a previous company for their home improvements project. Along we came and completely transformed their home. A few things needed changing so that they could comfortably enjoy their home again.
Mr Grant is an avid Star Wars fan and loves to build big Lego models. So they needed a spacious room that can be used throughout the year. An underperforming conservatory can become either too cold or too hot. Our aim was to provide them with an insulating space that they both could enjoy all year round.
The Installation
Mr and Mrs Grant had a polycarbonate roof, and the insulation wasn’t meeting their expectations. We replaced the polycarbonate with a new warm roof, with an external soffit light. This instantly transformed their new space and made it look like a seamless extension of their Chatham home. We removed all of the old uPVC frames and replaced them with new material that will last for years to come. We finished the roof by adding internal plasterboard and fully insulating the walls. Each part of their conservatory will help the overall thermal performance of their Chatham home.
Our work didn’t stop with our warm roof installation. We replaced all of the tired tiles with a modern composite cladding in anthracite grey. Not only does this aid the kerb appeal of their home, but it will further insulate their property. Finally, we replaced all of their timber fascias and soffits.
