How Does The Leka Orangery Roof System Work?
The innovative Leka orangery roofing system, is made from thermally efficient, lightweight material, which means we do not have to make any changes to the base of your orangery.
Here our step by step guide, shows the 8 step process.

The Rafters
First the Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) rafters are added to the existing orangery window frames.

Thermal Insulation
Insulated PIR sheets or EPS are then added allowing a 15mm gap from the internal sheets.

Outer Sheets
Next, the load-bearing, insulated outer sheets are added. These ensure less roofing bars and more efficiency.

Weatherproof Coating
A coating is then applied to the outside to weatherproof the surface.

The Glass Lantern
The glass lantern is then installed on top of the structure and fixed into place.

Roofline Features
uPVC fascias and cappit are then attached to the edges of the structure, allowing guttering to also be added.

Internal Boards
The final structure stage, is to add either Leka internal sheets, or plasterboard, underneath the GRP rafters.

Plaster & Lighting
The underside of the roof then is then plastered, and lighting can be fitted.
