The Old Conservatory Roof
Mr & Mrs. Lad's conservatory was an unused room that proved cold and inhabitable during winter and stiflingly hot during the summer months. That is until Warm Roof Division stepped in!
Glass and polycarbonate conservatory roofs have hardly any insulation, which is what causes these issues. We replaced their old, uninsulated roof, with a solid insulated Leka roof to transform this conservatory and convert it into an all year round living space for these Orpington homeowners.
The Installation
It was important to Mr & Mrs. Lad to maintain the natural light they had coming through their original roof while also having a usable functioning space they could enjoy no matter the season. We fitted our Ecolite roof vents that let in 40% more light than a typical Velux window and are incredibly energy efficient thanks to their triple glazed panels.
We maintained the fantastic traditional shape of this roof, replacing the glass with a contemporary shingle grey from Leka roof systems.
