Replacement Conservatory Roof in Hollingbourne, Maidstone
Case Study
Before The Replacement
Our customers, Mr & Mrs. Nicholls, own an incredibly unique conservatory in the Hollingbourne area of Maidstone. Their home includes a stream that runs through their garden and under the conservatory. However, this wonderfully quirky build was in need of a little attention to keep its function in line with its aesthetic, which is where Warm Roof Division came in!
After a consultation with one of our experts, they decided to have their old glass roof, replaced with a new tiled roof. This would make the space warmer, and far more usable, while still being in keeping with the look and feel of the unique property.
The Installation
A replacement roof was just the ticket for this conservatory, as its glass roof paired with its exposed underbelly made for an extension prone to heat loss and cold. This project called for the removal of the out of date glass roof and the installation of a solid and well insulated tiled one.
The stream around the base of this build made for a slightly tricky installation. Our expert team took great care to ensure no debris polluted the water nor disturbed the surrounding plants and garden so we could leave this home exactly how we found it.
The Benefits
The solid roof we installed, offers an array of benefits to this Maidstone home. The owners now enjoy increased heat retention and tight weather seals, which keep the warm air in and guard against chilly draughts and unwanted water ingress. Over time this could see them save on their energy bills by reducing their reliance on central heating, with the added bonus of reducing their carbon footprint.
The sleek look of the solid roof unit also enhances the overall aesthetic of the home, adding a contemporary touch that keeps the home current.
