on Panel X Installations

Who is covered by the warranty?

Panel X products offered by Warm Roof Division Ltd, are covered for a defined period of 5 years. Warm Roof Division Ltd extends this warranty only to the first end-user of installed products. This warranty is non-transferable.

What’s covered by the warranty?

This warranty is given in respect of the following products, supplied and installed by Warm Roof Division Ltd:-

  • Panel X panel/board/sheet, either 25mm or 35mm in thickness, respective to the panel supplied. This is the Aluminium or PVC skinned board and xps foam core; and printed surface.

Warm Roof Division Ltd warrants the xps foam core, aluminium and PVC skins making up the products will be free from defects in workmanship, under normal use for 5 years from the date of purchase by the first end-user (“Warranty Period”). Under this warranty, Warm Roof Division Ltd will repair or replace, at its option, any product that fails to perform according to Panel X published specifications during the Warranty Period.

Warm Roof Division Ltd warrants the printed images located on the visual exposed sides/surfaces of the aluminium/PVC skins completing the products will sustain an appearance of detail under normal use for 5 years from the date of purchase by the first end-user (“Warranty Period”). If the images have faded to the point of complete disappearance and are completely removed from normal sight, under this warranty, Warm Roof Division Ltd will repair or replace, at its option, any product that fails to perform according to Panel X published specifications during the warranty period.

What’s not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage to Panel X products caused as a result of any modification, alteration, misapplication, misuse of, or physical abuse to any product; or damage due to repair, acts of god (for example:- rain, lightning, sun, wind or snow), animals/birds/vermin/faeces or equivalent, or service to the products by anyone other than a service engineer approved by Warm Roof Division Ltd.

Maintenance

Panel X panels/sheets/boards should be cleaned with moderately warm soapy water and a soft sponge or equivalent. No abrasives, rough edges, chemicals and advanced cleaning solutions should be used when cleaning the surfaces of the Panel X System. Bird/animal/vermin faeces should be removed from a surface immediately.
